Employee Handbook / Manual

Employee Handbook / Manual

A standard-form employee handbook for a company in England & Wales, bringing together the main workplace policies and information for staff.

How to use this template - Replace every [SQUARE-BRACKET] field before use, and attach or cross-refer your detailed policies. - Mark the handbook non-contractual (clause 1) so you can update policies without varying contracts, but be aware that, in practice, some provisions can become contractual through custom; keep wording clear. - Keep it consistent with the written statement of particulars (Employment Rights Act 1996, s 1) and your contracts. - Have a solicitor or HR adviser review before issuing.
