How to use this template, read this first - Replace every
[SQUARE-BRACKET]field before use, and make sure every figure (times, costs, areas) is accurate, a shipping policy is part of the pre-contract information you must give consumers under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. - Delivery and risk: under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, unless you agree otherwise, goods must be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days. As a general rule, risk stays with you (the seller) until the goods come into the consumer's physical possession (or a person they have nominated to receive them). Exception: if the consumer arranges their own carrier who is not one of your offered delivery options, risk passes when the goods are handed to that carrier. - This is a consumer-facing policy; B2B delivery terms are set by your contract.
